Bioterrorism

Introduction

Bioterrorism, while not used often has a clear and present danger and is one of the most uncontrolable ways of attacking and spreading terror.Though bioterrorism is mostly associated with terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and Hamas , bioterrorism is more of a danger because it can be used more by individual citizens who have some type of grudge at someone or some group of people, for example there have been many stories of wives who hated there husband, and husband and who hated there wives, so they put some type of germ or bacteria in their food which results in sickness or death, this is a perfect example of bioterrorism used by individual citizens. Bioterrorism is defined as a deliberate attack by releasing viruses, bacteria, or other germ agents used to cause illnesses or death in people, animals or plants. Majority of these agents are typically found in nature but are usually changed genetically to increase their ability to cause sickness, there ability to be passed from person to person, or even to make them more resistance to current medicines and vaccines. In charge of regulating and ultimatly prevent any type attack are two government agencies, the CDC and the FDA Information on this website came from both the the CDC and the FDA
