Lab 4.1 1) One similarity between JavaScript and HTML that suuggests both might be programming languages are they both are used to make instructions given to the computer to make words how we want them. One difference between JavaScript and HTML that suggests only JavaScript is a programming language are JavaScript is actually making the language and doing the job. 2) Input for a television set is you turning it on using the button provided on the television or the remote to turn it on. The output of a television is the picture produced on the television. Input for a portable CD player is putting batteries and a CD in the portable CD player. The output is the music playing back to you. 3) The JavaScript had both input and output. This is so for the input is when I entered the program in the HTML notepad. The output was the results on the web page. The currency converter program also had input and output. The input was the entering of the amount of U.S. dollars. The output was the answer.
