A Small Introduction of Me

.I was born on April, 11, 1988 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama, the oldest child and only daughter to Tom and Beth Butler. I have one younger brother, I have lived in a town called Harvest for all my life, which is just northwest of Huntsville. I began elementary school at Harvest Elementary in the Fall of 1993 at the age of 5. I met my best friend (who still is) in first grade, Darby Stone. I began playing inline hockey at the age of 10 and played for 3 years. I am still a hockey fan. I attended Sparkman Middle School for 3 years, beginning at age 11. Then I attended Sparkman High School for 4 years beginning at age 14. I finished second in the class of over 450. I became a Christian when I was 8, accepting Jesus as my Savior. When I was 15, God called me to be a missionary. Then I became highly intersted in medicine and felt the call to be a medical missionary. I went on my first medical mission trip in July 2005 to Sao Paulo, Brazil, and my second trip in July 2006 to Honduras. I loved both trips and know that's what I want to do for the rest of my life. Currently I am a sophomore attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham as a Biology major and Pre-medicine.
