2. Ram temporarily stores the data, the data is lost when the computer is turned off. Hard disks stores the data permenantly (or at least until you delete it). But Ram is much much faster than the hard disk, and much more expensive.

3. In textbooks, there are Units, Chapters, and Sections to organise the materials. Units are made up of chapters, and chapters are made up of sections. That way a large amount of material can be categorised into an outline, making it easier to find the information you are looking for.
