Welcome to My Website

My name is Ying. I grew up in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking and watching movies during my spare time. Life was uneventful till summer 2001 when I came to the US to pursue my PhD from the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I love Birmingham, specifically the people and the gym! I had a wonderful student life there and would like share my memory of Birmingham with you through this website.  I hope you can visit the place sometimes!.
