2.  RAM and hard disks are both forms of data storage.  How are they alike?  How are they different?  In particular, discuss the relative advantages and disadvantages of each.
  Ram and hard disks are both forms of storage.  When a computer is turned off the information on RAm would be lost.  The info on a hard disk stays there until someone deletes it.
   Ram's advantage is that it is faster than hard disk.

3.  Describe at least one non-computing example of hierachical organization in the real world.
    The library book system.
